"I gave Richard a week's wages once. In return he gave me some kind of
meditation password. So I shut my eyes, followed some simple instructions
and meditated for 20 minutes. It changed my life!"
Dean (Wellington, New Zealand)
"Just like sipping the best cup of warm chai that is made with so much love, this is how I feel when I meditate. Richard embodies so much warmth and presence with his approach to vedic meditation. He also brims full of wisdom and wholeheartedly leads with his heart. His integrity is a true beacon of light, guiding people to an elevated way of living.
The results of these beautiful experiences of learning meditation directly with Richard is a meditation practice that I easily integrate into my everyday life, anywhere.
After every meditation, I feel I exude more gratitude, centredness, truth and clarity. The divine guidance of all that is possible really does derive from a connection to a higher source that I experience every time I meditate. And the more I meditate, the more I feel that connection throughout my daily life. Thank you Richard."

"Richard is the most authentic Meditation teacher I have come across. He taught me vedic meditation at a stressful time in my life and I have now been using the technique for the last eight years with great effect.
In a day and age in which we are flooded with pseudo experts, it is refreshing to know that teachers such as Richard exist."
Nick Bracks (Melbourne, Australia)
"Vedic Meditation has been a great thing in my life, one of the best decisions I've ever made. It has been very difficult for me to maintain a regular practice because I have adrenal fatigue. I'm working on it though. Meditation has been something to look forward to which helps keep me grounded."
Sahm Khojasteh (Melbourne, Australia)
"I ran into Richard five years ago right at a time when I was looking for a way to feel supported by myself, connected to the world around me and to find a way to be clearer with my intentions.
After learning my first mantra from Richard I was amazed at how easy it was to commit to meditating for 20 minutes twice a day when in the past it had seemed impossible to simply sit still for a few minutes.
Vedic Meditation is essential to my life now; it helps with my energy levels, my focus, gratitude and connection to everyone and everything around me."
Lauren (Melbourne, Australia)
"Learning to practice Vedic meditation has been and continues to be a life
changer for me. Having dabbled with several different techniques over the
past years, vedic meditation is the first practice I've been able to stay with
consistently. I love my meditation sessions!
I'll continue to meditate for the rest of my life and I'm very excited and grateful
for the benefits it continues to give me.
I can't recommend it enough."

"I first started vedic meditation in 2010. I had been suffering from anxiety which led to panic attacks at the worst of times. I felt that my anxiety was controlling my life. After I learnt how to meditate, I became more aware of what my triggers were and learnt to slowly let go of them. My anxiety no longer controls my life and when I get anxious they no longer lead to panic attacks. Vedic Meditation has been an invaluable tool to let go of daily stress and fatigue".
Theressa (Brooklyn, NY)
"Learning Vedic Meditation under Richard has been a transformative
experience. I never would've thought I'd adopt such a practice but now I
cannot go a day without meditating.
Richard has unprecedented knowledge that has been very influential in my
daily life. The inner peace and awareness that it has given me changed my
perceptions on life for the better. I've also gained more rest and energy
throughout the day because of my practice.
If you ever have an opportunity to learn with Richard, it will truly change your
life".

"I just started my new way of life a few weeks ago being trained by Richard
and today when I checked my blood pressure it had reduced from 168/101 to
138/94. My bottom number has not been that low for years and I have been
close to hypertension for many years. I feel fortunate that I started vedic
meditation instead of being on prescription medication for high blood pressure
for the rest of my life."

"I am a 42-year-old female corporate executive. Over the past several years,
as a result of having lived through a personal trauma, I began to suffer from
progressive performance anxiety. My symptoms which included relatively
severe panic attacks, memory loss, antisocial tendencies and the inability to
focus began to have a major effect on my career, relationships and self-
esteem. As a recovering alcoholic & addict, the last thing on earth I wanted to
do was pick up alcohol or drugs (prescription or otherwise) to get relief from
my struggles, but I was beginning to believe there was no other solution.
Upon being introduced to Richard Stables and his gentle teaching of Vedic
Meditation, I was given the tools I needed to gain a better understanding
of the human being as a spiritual entity, quiet my mind, regain my internal
balance and bring myself to a place of peace.
As I continued to follow Richard's teachings and meditate twice daily, I could
literally feel the positive effect it was having on my central nervous system
and the symptoms I had once experienced were disappearing. It was as if a
muscle that connects my mind, body and spirit had been weakened by living
through intensely stressful events and the Vedic Meditation practice was
serving to re-build my strength.
In a few short months, I have regained my confidence and poise. I am calm,
collected and focused. When I do experience acute performance anxiety (i.e.
in the minutes leading up to a public speaking engagement), or when I begin
to succumb to the ever-present stress of my chosen career, I am able to bring
myself to the present moment and calm the physical systems that once
interfered with my ability to think, speak and act with clarity.
Richard's teachings have helped me achieve this incredible result without the
use of pharmaceuticals, which is standard practice for most people in my
profession.
I am eternally grateful to Richard and the Vedic Meditation community for
being so welcoming, understanding and showing me how to manifest my
destiny. Thank you!!"

"I have been practising Vedic Meditation for approximately a year and a half and it has had a positive influence on my everyday life. The biggest impact it has had is on my energy levels. I have seen and felt a very big increase in the amount of things I can do in my day and how much energy and enthusiasm I can channel into them. In addition to this I have seen a really big increase in my concentration levels which has influenced my education and academic performance.
I recently completed ATAR studies for both year 11 and 12 and was awarded a Certificate of Merit for my Western Australian Certificate of Education and was recognised as one of Western Australia's brightest year 12 students. Vedic Meditation helped me achieve these results as it increased how effective my study was. I wasn't procrastinating as much and my ability to process and understand information as well as link concepts improved. This has followed through into my university studies.
Meditation has also enhanced my social skills and confidence when speaking to others. Previously I often felt very anxious in new social situations and was known to be very shy. I now work in customer service and have no trouble interacting with customers as well as interacting with teachers and other students in the classroom setting.
Vedic meditation fits in very nicely within my day doing 20 minutes first thing in the morning which wakes me up and then 20 minutes later in the afternoon between work or university which gives me some time to reboot, making sure I get the most out of my day.
I found meditation was very easy to learn and Richard taught in a very wholesome way which allowed me to appreciate and respect the history and traditions behind this amazing skill. Richard and I often chat about how my vedic mediation technique is going and he continues to give me new useful tips as my practice develops)."
